While I'm sure this volume is necessary to set the scene for Kirov to turn the tide, it is quite a depressing read in which one disaster befalls another for Great Britain. I hope the series takes a positive turn in Three Kings.Product details

Waited for each sequel -- thankfully had most of them upfront. Waiting for more from this author and maybe more sequels.
continues...where is it going?
The saga continues and at this rate in may exceed the time frame of WWII yet it keeps you begging for more. Each pending volume ( and I am certain there are a few more ) leads to one crisis or another. The first few volumes were entertaining but now a strong and fascinating storyline keeps you rivited.
This is a great continuation of the Kirov series. In the same league as Harry Turtledove. I could have read this book under my Unlimited subscription for free, but I choose to buy the book to support the author.
A good book that is enjoyable to read and keeps the reader interested. It does have too many grammatical errors for this English Teacher, but it does not take away from the story. For me though, there are too many sub-plots going on and that does take away from the story.
Can't figure out how Schettler can turn out so many books in a short time - he must write all day and night. I am a big fan of this saga and enjoy the aspect of the time travel issue of an alternate universe because it allows Schettler to continue his story without confusing the reader too much. My one pet peeve is keeping track of the books in the series due to the lack of a continuous numbering system.
